OCCUPATION:Team Leader - American Express Centurion Card
AVERAGE WEEKLY TRAINING:8 - 10 hours per week - 2-3 runs, 2-3 bikes (gotta love coach Troy and his spinervals), and 1-2 swims - ladders, 100 intervals, and endurance swims
FAVORITE WORKOUT(S): Open Water Swims at East Canyon, Bricks, and long runs in the spring
FAVORITE/MEMORABLE RACE(S): The Women of Steel Triathlon! It was a great race. So many women competing in their first triathlon - it is so motivating. Jordanelle 2007 - my first time on the trail of tears. Las Vegas Women's Triathlon - with Di, Sue and Kelly. It may be the baby bike, but it's cute!!
CURRENT TRIATHLON GOAL(S):Complete HIM Boise 70.3 (June, 2008). To improve my short course times, and run without ITB pain!
WHAT INSPIRES YOU TO COMPETE AND TRAIN:The feeling I get after a great workout or race, and knowing that I am stronger both physically and mentally. The awesome triathlon community and friends I have made through this sport.

DESERT SHARKS VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR DUTIES
-Coordinates all volunteer activities on behalf of Desert Sharks Triathlon Club.
-Solicits volunteer assistance from within and external to the club to provide race day support for area multisport races.
-Maintains a registry of potential volunteers, gains acceptance/commitment from volunteers for each race, and develops volunteer assignments to meet each race's needs.
-Works as club liason and communicates with other race directors in the area need volunteer support.
